It has been a long time since we have posted any news on the site. Things have been
hectic these past couple of years. Its not as easy to spend hours playing with a website.
Well, let's see...Elijah is still working at Smooth Fusion and is now Director of
Development. Ronni graduated with her Masters in Elementary Education in May of 2004
and got a job teaching 2nd Grade at North Ridge Elementary in Frenship ISD. We also added
another Golden Retriever to our family. Her name is Callie and she is now 8 months old.
We also bought two new cars in the past couple of years. Last year we got a 2003 Ford
Explorer and this year Elijah bought a Nissan 350z. Hopefully our next news entry will be
soon and not quite as long as this one. :o).

We had a few visitors this summer in between Ronni's two summer school classes.
Ronni's parents came for the 4th of July and then the following week Elijah's
mom and our nephew Skylor came to visit. A fun time was had by all. Skylor kept
us busy with Joyland (an amusement park) playing games, putt putt, and sight
seeing. We had a great time and were sad to see him go.

Well we finally bit the bullet and sprung to have a sprinkler system and sod
put in our yard. We decided to trade the lovely red dirt we had grown so fond
of for a lush lawn of bermuda. Lawn

Ronni finished her second semester of graduate work with a 4.0 and recently
received her formal acceptance into the Master's program for Elementary
Education. She was also nominated by a professor for the National Dean's List!
This summer she will take one class and then 3 classes in the fall in order
graduate in December 2003. After that is a semester of student teaching and
then out into the real world.

Valentine's day of this year brought a new addition to our family! Elijah
bought Ronni a puppy! He is a golden retriever and his official AKC name is
Captain Cooper Hardin. The Captain part is from his dad whose name is Captain
Rowdy Bear and Cooper came as a suggestion from Ronni's dad. He sleeps a lot
and potties a lot, but he's a lot of fun. Keep an eye out for pictures as he
grows.
